Plans to build are a residential and small commercial Building Design and Drafting business that offers state-wide services at affordable rates. We work on a range of different project types from new residential builds, renovations, plans for alterations and additions of new or existing/non-compliant dwellings, (sheds, garages, decks) as well as small-medium sized commercial projects.

Our team uses the latest 3D modelling, detailing and documentation software, as well as 3D rendering and VR technology to ensure our valued client projects are reliable and accurate, whilst allowing them to explore their project before its constructed.

We utilise industry leading technology to help you see your design in 3D before it's a reality in brick-and-mortar.

BIMx is a game-like navigation tool that helps anyone explore the building model and understand project deliverables. Real-time model cut-throughs, in-context measuring and project markups in the model context make BIMx your best on-site BIM companion.

Our core business is catering to clients with their alteration and addition projects. With a friendly and approachable manner and being able to understand a brief, we carry out site visits, measures and site surveys with a project transformation that exceeds the client expectations.

Who we are.

We're a small, dedicated team of experienced Building Designers and Planners.

Based in Launceston Tasmania, Plans to Build is owned and operated by Leigh and Polly Dell with a small, dedicated team. Leigh has over 25 years experience as a licensed Building Designer. Plans to Build is now in its 8th year of operation.
